A Little History of The Boneyard Animal Rescue

The Bone Yard Animal Rescue was founded in February of 2014 by a group of dedicated volunteers who aim to make a difference for homeless, abused and abandoned animals. We will tirelessly strive to rescue, foster and do everything possible to improve the lives of those who cannot speak for themselves. We will serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training and good nutrition.

Our Mission

The Bone Yard Animal Rescue is a licensed 501c3 tax exempt non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abused and abandoned animals facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters and animal control facilities. Working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians and trainers we are able to provide loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

Happy Clients

I had THE BEST experience with this group They are truly professionals and stop at nothing to make sure everyone (humans and animals) are 100% comfortable. They are there at all times to help and guide all fosters and adoptions. I cans say enough about the sincerity they offer. Thank you Boneyard for making this world a better place.

The BoneYard Animal Rescue is a great organization! Very easy to work with. I am one of the volunteers, and also a Foster for the dogs. This organization goes above and beyond to ensure placement of these puppies/dogs in a safe, loving forever home, and ensures that these puppies/dogs are up to date on their vaccinations (as appropriate for the dogs age). I did adopt one of my fosters from the Boneyard, and she is the most perfect dog I have ever owned.

We searched for months looking for the right dog for us. The Boneyard helped us find two. We adopted a brother and sister aussie/lab mix. They are like our children, we can not imagine our lives without them. The volunteers go above and beyond to help these pups. The entire organization is top notch.

I have worked with this group with fosters and have adopted a dog from them. The group works hard to find good homes for dogs that need them.

Full disclosure: I am a volunteer for this organization but it is run by great people who do everything in their power to find the best dog-person/family fit.

These poor pups go through so much, and the Boneyard shows them so much love, and offering them a second chance at being happy and loved.

My family and I adopted a black lab named Bart (later dubbed Hoosier) from The Boneyard. They have been nothing but excellent to work with, Cassie has gone above and beyond to help us with Hoosier and to make sure he is taken care of. Meeting the other volunteers during the meet & greet were awesome too. Chrite was perfectly pleasant and listed when I was talking about my history with labs, and Jane followed up with all the final approval documentations. This has been a great adoption experience!! Two paws up ladies!!

I adopted a dog who was no longer wanted by his family. She was lost and scared. I can not even think of how she would have done in a caged facility. The Boneyard is foster based and never keeps their dogs in a caged facility. She would have never came out of her shell being shoved into a cage all day, waiting for someone to love her. I am so happy I found her and made her part of my family.
